I'm staring in it's eyes, its scales are gold and red, its long black tongue flickers, it senses that I'm scared. I turn around to run, but stumble in my fear, I hear it slither closer, it hisses in my ear, wraps its self around my leg, then sinks its fangs in. My body's losing feeling, but I know it's still here, feasting on my flesh and bone, until it's well fed, then leave me for some other animal to finnish off instead. |
